PetrOnline.com is the website I maintain for posting of announcements, materials, assignments, and handouts for the classes I teach at Wootton High School in Montgomery County, MD. Classes for the fall 2008 semester include Programming 1 (C++), Discovering Programming Concepts (Visual Basic), and Software Applications by Design A. Please note that the corresponding blue tab for each of these courses will lead you to content posted for that class. Note that each class tab contains a calendar to warn of homework due dates, quizzes, and tests. Also note these calendars are INDEPENDENT of those on Edline, so check this site regularly.
Student grades can be found on the Edline website. Please monitor this website frequently to keep updated on your progress in the class.

I am available before school beginning at 6:30 am. I am available to stay until 4pm after school on Tues. and Thurs (as long as an appointment is made at least one day in advance).
I am a graduate of Montgomery County Public Schools. My educational background consists of a B.S. in Biology from Towson University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Towson University, and an M.S. in Information Systems from UMBC. I am currently pursuing a third M.S., this time in Instructional Technology through a partnership between MCPS and Towson University.
I taught two years of 8th grade science at Francis Scott Key Middle School in MCPS from 2000 to 2002. I taught a variety of science courses (Earth Science, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, and Astronomy) as well as a variety of Computer Science courses (Discovering Programming Concepts, Programming 1, AP Programming 2, AP Programming 3, and Website Development) at Paint Branch High School from 2002 to 2008. The 2008-2009 school year marks my first year at Wootton High School.
